Cam + Dante had us to Denver for their wedding and we were obsessed. We are so lucky to work with the most amazing couples. These two made us feel like family throughout their day and we had the BEST time with them!
They have been together since middle school and their wedding was such a beautiful tribute to their love. The groomsmen got ready at Union Station (one of our favorite places on earth) and so getting the footage there may have been our favorite. Thanks so much for having us, Burls!
Brandon + Becca are getting married in California this July and I can. not. wait. I had the BEST time getting to know them and shooting these for them! It reminded me how much I love getting to do shoots with couples before their wedding day. It's the perfect way to get to know each other before the wedding!
Neither Becca, Brandon, or I are from Utah so we were all in awe of these blossoms! Spring completely amazes me. It makes me so grateful we get four seasons, they are all so beautiful and bring something unique and exciting.
I seriously love these two so much and can't wait to hang with them again when they get married and I get to do their video!

Brigham + Savanna. They had me cracking up the whole shoot. Savanna is my little sister, and Brigham and I go way back. Seeing them together is so much fun for me. Even though they haven't been dating for very long, they are so comfortable together. I seriously love them. We had a blast shooting these and not being freezing was a huge plus. Goodbye winter, I'm not sad to say goodbye but I'll be happy to meet again in December. :)
An unplugged wedding is when you invite your guests to be fully present in the celebrations and let your photographer and videographer be in charge of capturing the day. At one of the first weddings I ever shot, as the couple was making a grand exit, a groomsman hopped right in front of me (because of course I had a good angle) to capture the moment on Snapchat!
Though we completely understand that you want to document every moment and every angle of your wedding, you also want your guests to be present. Consider an unplugged wedding, or just ceremony, whatever makes sense for you! Let your guests be fully present and in front of the camera instead of behind.
Before the ceremony, many couples choose to do a first look. This is one of our ABSOLUTE FAVORITE things. It gives you the opportunity to have another special memory of your day. It lets you have a special moment with your love before the day really begins. It makes for the most beautiful video and photos.
Sunset portraits give us life. They often end up being my favorite shots from the whole day. The light is dreamy, and it gives you as a couple a minute to be away from the crowd and enjoy each other. And seriously, this is where some of the most gorgeous imagery is made. So slip away, even if just for 10 minutes, and get some shots in the golden light.
Your wedding day is going to be surreal. You're going to feel loved beyond measure, and you're going to think your heart will burst. But stuff is going to go wrong! I promise. So embrace that, it's part of your story, and enjoy it all. Let loose, don't worry about getting your dress dirty, and get down on the dance floor. And if your lover's toast turns you into a puddle, let that emotion come. Embrace it all. Not only will it make for the best memories, it will make for the best photos and video too.
Shooting this day I got one of the first glimpses of spring! I showed up to the shoot in jeans and a sweater and 10 minutes in I was sweating! The sun was shining and it was glorriioouuuss. BUT I got a little too excited because 30 minutes later it got so cold and rainy, darn it! Even just the nice few minutes got me craving summer. I am so excited for all of the summer weddings coming up!
