First and foremost:

Your engagements will be fun!  It's a great time for us to hang out and get to know each other.  I never want photography to feel like a necessary evil--the goal is to have a good time and let you guys obsess over each other for an evening.

Hair + Makeup:

It's not necessarily true that more makeup looks better in photos.  But engagements are a great time to test out your hair and makeup for your wedding day!  I definitely recommend getting your hair and makeup done, but at the end of the day it's whatever you feel most comfortable with!

What to wear:

The most important thing is that you feel like YOU.  Dresses are great, but I love when couple's take a casual approach as well.  And because of my shooting style, you'll want to wear something you're comfortable moving around in. TIMING:

Turnaround time for engagements is 2 weeks, so make sure we've picked a date that leaves time for you to send out invitations.  The shoot usually takes an hour to an hour and a half!
